My name is Missy and on January 1st, 2008, my first lease officially began. My roommates are my cousin and lifelong closest friend, who is ridiculously bipolar, sarcastic, angry, insightful, and amazing; my short and cuddly friend from our college GSA group, who is bitchy in the morning but adorable, clever and hilarious all the time; and my best gay since sophomore year of high school, who is sweet, patient, kind-hearted, and full of more sarcasm than a barrel of high school outcasts. He loves fairies and flowers, his nickname is Pink, and the dog, well, she's his fault; her name is Tinkerbell and she is, you guessed it, a toy poodle.
Me, well, I'm a Gemini. I'm absurdly giddy and forlorn, often at the same time, I love bright colors and loud music, I'd rather cuddle and talk with the TV on silent, and when I see pennies that are tails-up, I flip them over so they'll be lucky for the next passer-by. I work at a horridly understaffed grocery store with some awesome people, I go to a horridly prejudiced and backwards school where I run a magazine and am vice president of the gay-straight alliance, my parents are divorced and CRAZY, my sisters are in high school, my best friend is transgender, and my girlfriend is hilarious. My life makes for some pretty entertaining material even WITHOUT the new living situation.
